DAM supports the recruiting efforts for dozens of companies building games and related technology for Web3, blockchain, and NFT’s. Studios building Web3 games target candidates who share a strong belief in potential for crypto and NFT’s in games.
The game industry has embraced the work-from-home (WFH) model. While some studios have implemented a hybrid schedule, remote work remains the preferred model by a large majority of studios and talent in the games industry.
DAM typically conducts Executive and C- level searches on retainer. On a retained assignment, we provide dedicated recruiting support and a customized recruiting strategy to meet the objectives of the search. ~20% of DAM’s placements are retained.
DAM’s recruiting efforts are predominately focused on North American talent. DAM can and has worked with development studios all over the world with two caveats typically: English is the default language used and you’re specifically targeting talent in the US and Canada.

The vast majority of candidates that are best positioned to leverage DAM’s services & network typically bring 2-3 years of professional industry experience to the table. With that in mind, aspiring game & emerging tech developers are encouraged to submit a resume.

DAM’s recruiting sweet spot for contingency search is predominately focused on talent with 4+ years of game and/or emerging tech industry experience in Software Engineering, Art & Animation, Game/Level Design, Production, and Product Management. For executive search, DAM supports Director, VP and C- level roles. Candidates without professional experience in the aforementioned categories are welcome to submit a resume.
We balance urgency with being thorough. Every hire is an extremely important decision and its DAM job to make sure the appropriate time is allocated to make the right choice. For mid, senior, lead and director level talent, DAM will be able to start building a qualified candidate pipelines in engineering, art, animation, design, production and product management immediately.
DAM posts the vast majority of its active jobs right on the website on our Job Openings page. There are dozens of opportunities across all of the key disciplines, across all primary verticals including game development, AI, FinTech, and Web3. With the exception of DevOps, Server/Backend, and Blockchain Engineers, DAM provides the most value to Job Seekers with at least 5 years of professional games and/or tech industry experience and at least one released game title or tech product. I’m only giving credit where credit is due. Sometimes I feel like there are more recruiting companies than there are companies to work for and most of them l don’t feel comfortable working with. Often it’s too obvious that they only care about moving you from A to B, no matter how bad the fit is. Working with DAM has always felt more personal and that makes all the difference.
